2.5" Sata SSD + 1x4gb 1333mhz ram stick could be an option if you can find a cheap one.

Sandy bridge 2.4ghz 4/4 running windows 7. Yep.  Windows 7 hasn’t been internet safe for some time.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
