Hey All, i drove to a friends house 6 hrs away and brought my pc as i will be staying for around a month, took all nessacary precautions , padded everything disconnected my ssd some power cables, and my gtx 1080 , i got to my destination and rebuilt my pc, and plugged it in, everything seemed to start up fine, until i tried to connect my monitor, which detected nothing in the gpu slot or the integrated port in the motherboard, the only clue i get is that the red cpu led comes on for a second after i turn it on then switches to the dram led, ( asus z170 pro gaming aura mobo, and a i7 6700k ), tried cmos, went dram led for a second then rebooted and went back to cpu led then dram, have tried everything i can think of, hope someone can help, Thank you again for taking the time to read this.

Would need specs of the machine.  I’m a bit worried about the cpu and cooler at this point.  Was the cooler aftermarket?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Well one thought is check your connections again and make sure everything is in the right place and connected.  Things can get wiggled in shipping no matter how careful one is and there always the odd cabling mess up when one is in a hurry. Does the gpu light up and spin or remain dark and still?
