Thermaltake Pure Duo 12 RGB not lighting up

So I got my first ever gaming pc and built it myself, my fans (Thermaltake Pure Duo 12 120mm) work fine but the RGB doesn't work, I'm not sure why, maybe because it's labelled as a "radiator fan". I put it in the ASUS Aura Sync thingy but the RGB just doesn't work. What should I do?

Hsve you followed manual and connected to correct header and in correct way? Does RGB work if you use included controller?

sorry for the late reply but I did attach it to the right header at the time, i instead just used the controller which made it work, I'm pretty sure others had this problem too.
