Yesterday I was playing with someone who has a 1080Ti and standing in the same place that person had 145 FPS and I had 75!

IF you're comparing performance like that you *need* to know the others Computer's Full Specs, otherwise it is completely meaningless.

Default cooler

I'm sorry but are you sure that's your CPU?

Because it doesn't look like the K version comes with a cooler at all...

The i7 8700 seems to come with a cooler however, but as always with Intel :

OUR VERDICT

Intel's Core i7-8700 is surprisingly similar to the company's more expensive -8700K in our benchmarks. You do lose the ability to overclock, but save $50 dollars in the exchange. Unfortunately, Intel's bundled cooler isn't able to cope with the -8700's thermal output, which means you need an aftermarket solution to realize the CPU's peak performance.

FOR

  • Small real-world performance difference compared to Core i7-8700K
  • Lower price than the -8700K

AGAINST

  • Bundled cooler is not sufficient
  • Locked ratio multiplier

I just finished checking temperatures with the new cooling system.

I must say, I didn't change the thermal paste in 2 years, anyway I check temperatures before installing the new cooler, the CPU was at 100 C playing warzone for a few minutes.

”Cooler Master B120i” temperature on the CPU is at 64 C a big difference.

I will compare FPS with my friend again to see if I get closer to hers after reducing CPU temperature.
