Quick question:

So, I need a new GPU because I currently have a crappy prebuilt from around 2013 (using a quadroK600)
But, most GPUs draw way to much power for my current 280W PSU and the motherboard in my prebuilt (as expected) doesn't use standard ATX, so it would be hard to swap out my PSU without tons of frustration.

So, could anyone recommend a reasonably up-to-date GPU that I'll be able to run on my current 280W PSU?

16gb DDR3 1600 ram weirdly spread across 4 slots

All I really need is relatively up-to-spec compute/productivity and gaming performance while not tripping overcurrent protection

Don't think so, but I'm planning to use a sata power to 6pin adapter.

Nah I recommend against this

Just buy something that doesn't need pcie power

 

I think 1650 is what you're looking for

It's a very capable 1080p card
