Eh, its something.

NarwhalKing33

Budget (including currency): $1.2k-$1k

Country: United States of America

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming(heavy), video editing(light), coding(intermediate), multi-tasking/school/work

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I need Wi-Fi. I would wait for the new stuff, but I am planning a build for next spring for early summer. (Note: I am upgrading from a PC that can't handle default Minecraft and Rocket league to some extent.)

So... How is it?

So making a list now will be redundant

Lots can happen before then, new things will come out and prices will change.

which means you've asked too early. Thing we say today could be outdated within a week, something new comes out and something old may be discontinued. Maybe we learnt something new about stuff already widely available. So yeah ask when you're ready to build.

I am gonna build a pc now, and an other new pc the coming summer. I am just trying to get a decent build that can do what I want it to do. majority of the games I run are on the lowest setting and crash after 5 min- an hour of playin thanks to the 1.5 gbs of Intel Iris pro. I would have attemped to yoink myself a card, but I am to busy with work and school to care. I am also trying to take advantage of Black Friday sales.

I don't think your GPU is that powerful compared to your CPU

I don't need anything that powerful I need something that can do the things that I need to do, Plus, I don't need the strongest/unavailable card. I just need something off the shelf and works. I will change the PSU; however, a B550 Mobo would be better. The 3600XT is just a place holder till 3600 is back in stock.

You said you're a heavy gamer, hence why I put in a far more powerful graphics card...

Why would a B550 motherboard be better? B450 supports the 3600 and works fine, and saves you money

I feel stupid... You right I just for that b450 exist bc of all the 5000 CPUs. I have a 1080p 60hz monitor, so that kind defeats the purpose of a 3080. I just need 6 to 8 gbs.

building frequently like that is bad for your money. Either wait, or just go full on now.

I know, but this build will be for one of my siblings as a gift once supply can meet demand or the opposite. I am not going to throw it away it the day it dies or he replace it. BTW I am sorry if I sound mad or angry,

Alright then, but I woudn't go for a 5500XT even if you're at 1080p@60, I'd go for a 5600XT for better FPS

Ok,
