Okay so im pretty new in the pc building. I've watched a fair share of vids. I got new parts for myself: b350pc mate, Ryzen 5 1600x, corsair vengence 3000mgz ddr4. Still the 7200rpm hdd(had that one) and im using a little 2.5(or 2.0) tplink usb wifi adapter ( it's as big as a wireless mouse receiver). And i got everything hooked up. Installed Windows (not the paid one for now) and there is this one little tiny huge problem. "Can't connect to this network." The bane of my existence for the past 6-7 hours. I can't find a solution. If any of you have some solutions feel free to share them. I prolly will bring the pc to a tech centre or call internet technicians to help me out, but still I'd love to hear from yall .

so, it shows your network, but doesn't allow you to connect when you enter the password? simple idea, but did you check that the password is 100% correct(including caps)? you can also try uninstalling your network drivers, and reinstalling the current one from the manufacturer(tp-link)

I did everything i was told and saw. I had a friend with me the whole time(he's got more experience in this). Nothing worked. I even downloaded drivers from my phone then to the pc. Still nothing. It said that the drivers are up to date. It shows the connection i type in the password, just stays in verifying connection and then says can't connect. I even tried through hotspot from my phone. Still the same result.

From what I've heard USB Wi-Fi dongles can be hit-or-miss. If given the option I'd use wired Ethernet. If that's not an option but you have a free PCI_e x1 slot available give a PCI_e Wi-Fi NIC. It should give you less issues.
