I was all set to get a nice mechanical keyboard when I tried out our mac's chiclet keyboard. I really like it, maby even more than mechanical. I can decide what to do!

And if i were to get a chiclet, can anyone recomend me a good one, and do some chiclet keyboards use sissor switches?

Odd choice in switches but I can see where you are coming from :)

Check out the Razer Deathstalker: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/razer-keyboard-rz0300800100r3u1

It is really the only chicklet gaming keyboard I am aware of and is not badly priced. Plus it is backlit.

Get a mechanical keyboard with MX Browns, screw the chiclet boards.

I like either browns or blues. But i dont know. im starting to like this chiclet, but I dont know. I guess I should just go back to mechanical, but im not sure. Im typing on this chiclet right now. I think i just like it becasue im coming from my ruber dome dell keyboard, but i dont know. Ill have to re try mech keyboards,

If you like chiclet better, then go chiclet.

I've personally never had one, other than the one on my laptop, so I can't really recommend any.

No shame in liking chiclets by the way. There is a big thing around every gamer needing a mechanical keyboard. For a very long time I have used rubber dome keyboards and I am currently using a rubber dome keyboard right now (Logitech G105) and TBH I don't feel to much of a difference between my rubber domes and some mechanical key switches. Just go with whatever you like and you will be happy with it.

It is possible, it's all opinion. Personally I prefer my rubber domes to Cherry MX Blue. If he likes chiclets then that's what he should get.

Right... Because everyone likes the keyswitches you like.

I know lots of people who like chicklet. Most of them grew up using mechanical though. In fact almost everyone I know who grew up with buckling spring either still use buckling spring or use chicklet/membrane.

We had to do some stuff so I'm still not home. I played with it the car and at the store. For some reason the store display was the 2012 addition, or what ever one was black and has the windows 7/xp logo. But mine is grey with windows 8 logo. I can't wait to get home and plug it in
