P500a RGB side strip not working anymore.

Hey LTT community. I'm new to PC building and a total noob when it comes to understanding RGB. I've built my new pc in a Phanteks P500a, and at first everything was working fine until i changed the front fans to non RGB but quieter PWM ones. 

Since then the side RGB strip that comes with the case and runs along the PSU shroud doesn't light up anymore (see here) . I'm fairly sure it is connected tho (see here). Does someone have a p500a drgb and can confirm that it is wired correctly ? Or does anyone have experience in this sort of RGB wierdness and can help a noobie out ? Thanks a bunch in advance !

I cant get it to light up and when traced the cable i found out it is not connected. It is that small 3 pin pin but no idea what it is supposed to connect to. It is drives me nuts! I looked at your pic and seems that is what i am looking for, but what is it?? I cant find any cable to connect it too and no idea the name of it to search. IO hope you reply
