please help, nothing is displaying!

I just built my first PC and it doesn't display anything like the bios. Everything is on and the fans are spinning but nothing. I've sent it to geek squad and they didn't really help me at all, they said it could by my motherboard but they are sure. 

they did say my CPU works and there are no broken pins.

this is specs:

Intel Core i7-6700K 4 GHz Quad-Core Processor

judging from pictures i can find online, looks like this motherboard comes with the classic MSI "EZ-debug" lights.

they should look something like this:

Your motherboard is not compatible with the 6700K.  Simple as that.

300 series chipsets are for 9th gen k series/unlocked chips. For i7-6700k, Z170 chipset is probably what you would need.

Any of the Maximus board would be pretty good for your chip. I personally have always known ASUS for their quality.

depends on your budget and your use case. if you built your system around that cpu, it is probably better just to get the correct motherboard
