Hello! whats the diffrent between nas disk and sas disk?

iknow nas is network attuch storage and sas is serial attach storage.

but a network disk can also be use by multiplie users.

so here is my question im going to buy some ssd disk for Virtual machines.

why should i buy sas disk insted of nas disk?

nas disk for 1 tb cost around 100 euro and 1tb sas disk its way more expensive maybe 500-1000 euro.

how much do i earn by buying sas disk insted of nas disk.

sas is a storage interface

nas is just a type of network storage

SAS disk are going to be enterprise grade faster drives than NAS on SATA

Network Attached Storage refers to a complete storage system holding the data, and the method you use to access it. A complete NAS system is really just a type of server.

SAS refers to Serial Attached SCSI which is a type of hard drive interface, like SATA. You could build a NAS device out of an assembled motherboard, an operating system, and some SAS drives, just like you could out of a motherboard, operating system, and some SATA drives.
