I have a msi 3080 ventus 3x 10g oc, this is paired with a ryzen 3600x, msi b550 mobo, xpg d60g 3200 16gb, 1tb of a60 m.2 ssd, and a 650 watt gold power supply. I stream with slobs and game on 1080 144hz. I had this same setup but with a 5700 xt prior and had no issues, but now that i upgraded to the 3080 my system is giving me a BSOD. Code kmode_exception_not_handled and lists the crash address as ntoskrnl.exe+3f45a0. Any assistance would be great. Already did the ram check, updated to current bios, and im running the most current 3080 driver... also im running nzxt cam for my z73 and dragon center for my case rgb, not sure if these conflict with each other in any way as they can both control gpu performance

Yes i made sure to do that before installing the new card

What exact PSU - these 3080's, certain ones, were shipped out with shit power control modules (or some such) so when they reach full load they were crashing systems.

My mistake it was a 700w, “be quiet! Pure power 11”

should be fine with rtx 3080. Do you have two separate cables going in to the 2x8pin, or 1 cable with 2x8pin?

Im just using the 1 cable that came with the power supply that has 2x8 pins

that might be the problem. 1x cable can not probably handle over 300W.

use both of the cables with 2x8pin connectors, but only connect 1x8pin form the both of them to the gpu.

Copy that. Ill try it out, i have to go buy another cable because the psu only came with that one cable. Ill update as soon as i test it out. Is there anything in the code that i posted that might tell you it was the psu?

it should have all the cables for all the slots. contact newegg and see what they can do. you have to buy cable which fits in your psu (check be quiet's website)

It had no effect adding the second cable. Still crashed. But i seen someone online had the same problem but got rid of dragon center and it worked fine. I uninstalled dragon center and it worked. Only thing is i have no way to control my rgb now because dragon center had mystic light
