What motherboard for Intel i7 3770 supports nvme SSD via PCIE 3.0 adapter and performs better than SATA SSD?

Will Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3R Rev 1.3 do it? Thanks

I don't know of any LGA 1155 boards supporting NVMe. The earliest I know are on LGA1150, which had selective support.

why? Are you transferring alrge files or somehting? otherwise you will not notice difference between NVME and sata ssd.

 

You could use pcie adapet on the most bottom pcie 3.0 slot. but will support sata m.2 ssd, but will not uspport NVME ssd, meaning that you can only use sata ssds/ sata m.2 ssds.
