Hey all,

I posted before about a workstation build with only a $2500 budget and now I have the opportunity to increase that to $4000, however I also am increasing the scope of what that money covers. Like many people I was very impressed with AMD's new offering of processors and graphics so I'd like to base this system around the X570 chipset and radeon graphics. I generally have a preference for quality over bling, selecting reliable components that were made for compatibility or security; for example Samsung making "the best" M.2 drives (according to most I speak to) or G.Skill having AMD-specific RAM.

Minimum Must haves:

Nice to haves, if budget/tech allows:

One question I have is about FPS if/when using a Radeon Pro graphics card. My primary computer use will be CAD work like when running Solidworks, but when gaming processing-intensive titles like Cities Skylines or Satisfactory I want the graphics/memory to be butter-smooth and I'm not sure how the GPU processes the different loads. Is a pro card even designed to run at 144hz? I can understand that I definitely shouldn't use a pro GPU when running Apex Legends or COD, but my gaming preferences don't include those. I wonder if the new memory sharing between Ryzen 5000 CPU's and Radeon 6000 GPU's solves this concern, but the BIOS in a pro GPU is still going to be more optimized for CAD. Any thoughts here much appreciated. Thanks!

Budget (including currency): $4000 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Solidworks, Microsoft Project, Cities Skylines, Satisfactory, Planet Coaster
