This is basically the build i am planning. I have an old kit of HyperX Fury 16GB (4x4) 2666hz, would I notice much of a difference between this kit and the 32GB 3200? or should i just use the 16gb kit for now and upgrade later?

I really like the design of the fury kits, the RGB is quite subtle compared to other designs and the heat sinks aren't overly "Gamer"

I do have a ripjaws V kit in my current build but its 32gb (2x16) 3200 and i dont really like the look of it, should I stick with this?

TL;DR

Option 1 - buy new HyperX Fury 32GB (4x8) 3200

Option 2 - use old HyperX Fury 16GB (4x4) 2666

Option 3 - use old Ripjaws V 32gb (2x16) 3200

you should use the 2x16GB of ripjaws and see if you can overclock them.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

any recomendations? i based it mainly on visuals. not many motherboard designs i like the look of, still not a fan of the one i picked.

I'd go b550 aorus master, b550 strix-e or b550 tomahawk, just to get rid of that chipset fan on the mobo. Any of these three you like the look of?

In case of cooler, air coolers are more reliable in the long term. The bequiet dark rock 4 or pro 4 looks pretty good, as well as the chromax.black lineup from noctua, starting with the nh-d15. If you want aio, the nzxt ones are the most expensive, generally. I'd go with a 280mm cheaper one. 280mm usually have similar performance to 360mm coolers, but stay a bit quieter.

the aorus master and nh d15 look the best. do you think 16gb ddr4 2666 would be good enough?

ryzen loses a lot of performance with slow ram. for the short term, 2666 is fine, but i would upgrade to 3600 or 3800 as soon as possible
