MSI B450i Plus AC - BIOS Update Question

Hey everyone, 
Looking for some guidance on potentially updating the bios on my motherboard. 
Currently running a Ryzen 3600 on BIOS version 7A40vA7, runs with no problems (other than it seems to spike voltage and temp randomly just under video playback and idle but i understand that's just how ryzens ccx's and cores boost behaviour is from what i've read online. Would like to update bios to newer version for the better agesa versions to see if it smooths out the boosting behaviour under light loads. 

Anyone update from the above version to something newer without problems? Looking at 7A40vAB or AC from the motherboard vendor page. 
Any Tips?

i would recommend updating, but mainly for memory compatibility, if you have issues with that.

voltage spikes are normal
