This connector

Hi everyone,

 

I am building a new PC and I am unsure on what this 2 pin connection is hanging off the 24 pin to 24 pin mobo connector. Has anyone got an idea?

 

Currently have -

 

Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite MoBo

Ryzen 5 3600

 

The light on the motherboard is showing CPU. This is all installed correctly and both 4 pins are connected to the ATX connector. I just have a feeling I'm missing something.

Looks a bit like the Phanteks RGB connector. (The bottom one on the picture) Idk why this would be on your 24 pin ATX though.image.png.d4fb741ca3b5037391a04db98f8f2f3f.png

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

That's what I thought to be honest but as you say, I have no idea why this would be on the 24 Pin. Tried looking everywhere

Couldn't it just be for powering LED strip? What extension kit is this cable from?
