Budget (including currency): up to 400 euros

Country: Luxembourg

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I would like to run a couple vms with debian on it, also around 2 minecraft servers, ofc a nas and enough headroom to experiment with some stuff

Required specifications: At least 512 gb of ssd and 2 tb hdd

Other details: I would prefer to have at least 32gb of ram

I was thinking of using FreeNAS for it, let me know if you have something better as well.

You might also want to look into retired work stations. I got my hands on one from a university which was optimized for low power. Performance will probably not be the problem as soon as you have something with 4+ cores unless you need very high single core performance (in which case you definitely want to look into consumer hardware and need more budget) or you have too many things going.

Server hardware tends to be loud and isn't really low power usually.
