ok so i honestly dont have a lot of experience in that desk sound field my experience is live sound engineer so i can not honestly help you

I have a pair and they are decent for the price.  They have tone controls which is a nice feature. I would get foam blocks or desk speaker stands for them however, if left right on the desk they can sound boxy.

yoga block are a good solution for that issue cheap and easy to find
