RAM for 5950X + X570 AORUS Master

Hello

I am building a new PC ,I was able to preorder 5950X today, and I am planning to buy the GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Master.

but I need some help in choosing the ram (my minimum ram is 32 GB)  , I am not sure really what to buy here

Patriot Viper Steel Series DDR4 16GB 4400Mhz --> Link   --> model number : PVS416G440C9K

G.Skill 32GB DDR4 Trident Z Royal Silver 3600Mhz  --> Link --> model number : F4-3600C18D-32GTRS
G.SKILL Trident Z Royal Series 32GB 4000 --> Link  --> model number F4-4000C17D-32GTRSB

I am leaning towards the G.SKILL Trident Z Royal because of looks, but to what extent the speed will effect my 4k gaming ( I am planning to buy a 3090 or 6900xt) and both of the  G.SKILL Trident Z Royal are not listed in the motherboard ram list is that a big issue ?

Ps : my budget is 400 USD esh may go up a little bit for good options

Without benchmarks being released for differences in RAM speed noone can know the answer. Wait for the reviews and you'll get an answer

The best gaming PC is the PC you like to game on, how you like to game on it

You’re going to want 3600 speed CL14 memory. Timings and latency more important than speed for ryzen. I’d personally get this kit.

thanks for your reply.

I totally understand your point but my question can be devided in to 2 :
1- how valid is the ram support list ? will other ram thats not in the list will work ?

2- will the speed effect any thing ?

I just watched the OC3DTV review and I am leaning on the 3600Mhz now, but I will wait for more reviews

I have the patriot 4400 kit myself and I managed to grab a 5950x today. I did consider the aorus master and I think the patriot kit is actually on the QVL for the Aorus as well but I went with Asus TUF Plus Wifi for now, will likely look at a Dark Hero, but overall I would get the patriot I think.

Buildzoid has made videos about the patriot kit because it's his fave and although he just said fclock couldnt do 2000mhz for a 4000mhz mem clock at 1:1 mode, der8auer just countered saying AMD themselves told him it's possible, likely on the finest chips.

Buildzoid just confirmed on reddit that 4000mhz 1:1 is possible with a new BIOS, I see some were released today.
