I have an HP T630 thin client with an embedded GX-420GI APU. What I can find suggests that the iGPU should clock in at 626 MHz, but I’ve only ever been able to get slightly over 300MHz out of it (it does vary, so I think it’s not an artificially set speed) and was basically just wondering if anyone could help me get the full clock speeds out of it. Been running Windows 10 64-bit so far. I've already checked/tried:

  • Dual-Channel RAM with maximum allocation of shared memory to the iGPU (1GB) to eliminate bottlenecks insofar as I can.
  • Updated BIOS and GPU drivers (as far as I can tell, all other drivers are up-to-date too)
  • Set Windows Power settings for maximum performance (including trying to constrain the CPU, in case it's a power-balancing problem between the CPU and iGPU)
  • Active cooling for the thin-client (placing it atop my proper desktop, where there's case fans -- no longer warm to the touch).
  • MSI Aferburner, which after turning on/allowing all settings I can find, doesn't let me set core clock speed, even though the slider is un-greyed-out.

what are the temps underload? and hard to see what you wrote with that font color lol

Max it hit was 36C, strangely enough.

And IDK what you are referencing by font, unless maybe you're using a dark mode that isn't adjusting this font colour; I've used whatever is default
