PC Build Edits

Budget (including currency):

Somewhere around 2200 USD

Country:

United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

Mostly General Gaming, Some 3d modeling and video editing

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rMwYgt

That is my current list.

I hope you are having an amazing week! I was wondering if someone could help me with my PC design. I am mainly going to use it for gaming, with some video editing and 3d design. I have my build pretty much designed, but I am having some second thoughts on some of the parts, some of them include my power supply, my monitor, and my two keyboards. First of all, will my power supply be enough for my build? For my monitor, I am looking for a decent 144hz+ 1080p monitor, preferably IPS. If G-Sync comes with it, that is fine. My last one is my keyboards, I have a membrane one, but I am not going to use that. I need 2 keyboards, one is probably going to be one for gaming, the other would be low-profile, and for typing. Something like the Hexgears X-1 design. The SSD is slightly outdated, is that okay?

My build is above, and if you have any other suggestions for my build, I would gladly take them. The budget is around the low 2000s. Are there any adapters that I need? Extension cords? If there is a better product that is cheaper, or near the same price, let me know!

(Something slightly unrelated. Where can I get cheap windows keys)

Why drop the intel cpu? What would you suggest instead? What is wrong with the case? To small? AIO not enough?

intel 9th gen is a beast. if they marketed 10th gen like 9th gen is right now AMD would be desperate for performance

first step swap the 1TB blue for a seagate 2TB for $10 more

PSU is a little weak for a high boosting 9900k and 3070, from what alot of reviews of the 3000series are saying. sudden spikes in load are causing overload protection to trigger so 750watts should be minimum, preferably 850watts

keyboards: Corsair K70 LP would be a great baseline standard to compare other options to.

check out some reviews of the Sennheiser GAME ZERO Black Headset, it is comparing well against most other options from what I've read.

The best gaming PC is the PC you like to game on, how you like to game on it

1. you will get better performance probably from something like a ryzen 7.

2. people say that the case has poor airflow. but since i have owned no other case, i can't say for sure

also go gold or silver. plat at 500w is unnecessary. the standards are less about cost saving useless you get to the higher levels of wattage like 850 or 900+

9th gen is just cheap for performance. it is like ryzen 3000 to 10th gen. you sacrifice performance for saving

wait till alder lake. im going rocket just due to how much my ram is(I aint paying for ddr5). 8 eight core rocket is just slighty better than 3800x according to user benchmark(really reliable from my own testing). when you get 10 cores willow amd will have to something big or they will lose 2021

its not $300. a 900k is over priced due to its name. they realesed a 900k as a 850k for cheaper and is a hidden gem for intel gamers

then look into ryzen. for around 100 $ more, you can get 4 more cores, but if you have the patience, wait for next gen ryzen

AMD already has something big. much sooner than intel at that. and what are we getting? finally something smaller than 14nm++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++?

they are just going to add more cores. we have a benchmark for a 8 eight core engineering sample that will underperform launch samples. im a betting man

I currently am planning on the Asus VG278QR 27.0" 1920x1080 165 Hz Monitor. IT is not IPS. Do you have any suggestions?
