CPU Power Throttling

Go to solution Solved by Nikkelz,

So, I think I just fixed it... I turned off Gaming Mode in MSI Dragon Center and all appears to be working fine with no throttle. I'll update this thread if power throttling continues

Hey everyone!

Looking to get some guidance on why my CPU is power throttling. This is a fairly new build that I put together and as of today, the CPU is power throttling any time I open a new game down to 800 mhz. I've reverted my OC back to stock to see if there was a config issue with my OC, which always has been stable and no issue.

The specs:

i7-10700k (reverted to stock, previously was at a 5.0ghz OC)

850w PSU Corsair HX

H100i AIO

MSI 3080

32gb of Vengence Pro Ram 3200mhz

Asus Strix-E Motherboard

Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!
