I'm updating my setup.

I originally built my PC whit what I could find and on a tight budget. At the end in was not that bad. I chose a big case just to be sure I had space for upgrading but now I'm going a completely different route and planing to build a desk PC and I want to work with what I have.
I'm planing on having a glass panel on one half on the desk just so I can have a nice look at the components. And the original idea was just to make room for the case that I have. Tilt the computer sideways and that's it. (first picture, desk on black)

But now Im a bit concerned about the hard drive and the Power supply. ( toshiba hdwd130, Actec z700). Since the power supply is sitting on its belly, and when tilting the whole thing it would rest on its side. And the hard drive bellow, is on its mount. So it would be facing upwards.
On your experience what do you think? could this cause any trouble? o am I just paranoid for no reason?

Now the second plan was to rip apart the case, salvage the parts that can be used and mount it all directly on the desk. But this would take a lot more space. (second picture, white desk)

And the third plan is just to buy a new case built for this position. May be something like  the Thermaltake core G3 and build the whole desk around it. I'm just avoiding this rout because I have not found a nice case or something that is not going to cost the same as the whole desk.
