Samsung includes an excellent software which will migrate all the data across for you including os. All you have to do is plug the drive in as you normally would the download the software from samsungs website.

Okay I am going to be purchasing a samsung ssd for my build and I want to switch my OS to it, I have a 1tb wd blue right now, and my questions are how to switch the OS to it because I am using windows 8.1 oem and from what I have heard you can only use it once or something? So I need to know how to get it from my HDD to SSD without having to format my HDD as I have like 400gb of data and no other storage to hold it on to back it up as of now.

3:

Steps

1: Grab the hammer and hit something with it several times, be sure to throw it at something when you're done hitting things (ex: person, cat, tv, hippie)

2: Eat Bacon

3: Grab gun and shoot wildly into the air for a minimum of five minutes (doing this while eating Bacon is suggested)

4: Do that other thing you wanted to do with that computer thingy.
