No video output please help me troubleshoot this problem

axc

This morning I turned on the pc and the main unit seems to be working fine but I have no video output.

I have tryed the following:

- different HDMI cables

- different monitors with different HDMI cables

- I bought a new gpu and placed it into the PCI-E port

- I have 2 different PCI - E slots and tryed it with both of them.

- I have tryed different

combinations on the RAM ports with all my 4 sticks of 4 GB RAM thinking it may be a faulty stick.

None of the above has worked.

Can someone help me out a bit?

Could it be the mother board or the processor?

My specs:

MB: gigabyte 970A DS3

GPU: GTX 750ti low profile (initial) and rx 550 (new one that I got just now)

PROCESSOR: AMD fx 6350

I know it's an older configuration but I was not planing on spending money on this just yet and want to know if there is a cheaper fix to this.

Thank you for your time!

Seems like you've been through a lot of steps.

I would try to remove the power cable and also the CMOS battery for about 30 seconds, then insert CMOS battery and power cable to see if it's a BIOS config that has caused it.

If not what is your PSU brand and model?

I have a noname 550w (I think) PSU, but everything seems to be getting power. Even the gpu-s are spinning the coolers, and all other coolers on the pc are working fine, the LEDs also.

Did you try with one stick of RAM at a time? To make sure there isn't a faulty one among them. Can't read that in your initial post.

It could possibly be either your motherboard or CPU then. But to eliminate, you'd have to find parts to switch out with. Which will be hard due to the age of your chipset.
