Hi, my computer have some problems last 2 days. There's no display at all for some reason and monitor light, just flickering for some weird reason. I also had this monitor flickering problem for 2 months the display comes after 1 minutes later. But last 2 days, display doesn't come for some reason.

Solutions that i've tried:

1) Clear the CMOS with unpluging the battery and with CMOS jumper.

2) Tried to unmount the Motherboard if there's a any pieces that could cause shorting.

3) Tried with another GPU.

4) Tried the stability of memory kits.

5) Tried 2nd PCI Express slot.

None of them worked.

I also have another motherboard and CPU but i'm little bit lazy to try them.

If required the specs:

CPU: Intel Xeon X5450

MB: Asus ROG Commando

GPU: Sapphire R9 280X Tri-X OC

RAM: Kingston 6GB DDR2 800MHz CL6(1GB X2 2GB X2)

HDD: Samsung HD155UI 1.5 TB 5400 RPM

PSU: Gigabyte P650B

Here's a clip that i've tried with another GPU (Asus HD 3650) to show how the problem looks like. As you can see, all components are working as usual but no display at all:

Did you try using a different monitor?
I'm not an expert but that is what I usually do when having any kind of problem.

I try to rule out things.

Maybe the monitor has just quit.

For example if I get no display. I try a different monitor on the same pc. If that works then I'll try the original monitor on a different pc.

In the past when I get no display it is often that the graphics card has quit but you tried a different card so?

You seem to be trying to do this but that is all I could suggest besides updating your graphics driver.

Your equipment seems old though so I'm not sure if you can even get a newer driver for the graphics card?

Plus you said you tried a different graphics card in the system with still no display.

So I'm thinking the monitor is dead?

Hope that is helpful.
