I have a Logitech and a cheapo Amazon webcam. The Logitech is much better but the driver is too old and there isn't a driver available. The cheapo cam works without a driver. Why does the Logitech need a driver and the other one doesn't? Is there any way to use it without a driver?

It depends on how it was designed. But as far as I know, every Logitech webcam released in the past 10 years that's still worth using (i.e. video quality isn't complete garbage) should still be supported in Windows 10. What is the model of your specific Logitech webcam?

If it's a webcam from the XP days, I would probably just trash it. The video quality from that thing would be far from amazing. You're better off even using your phone as a webcam at that point.
