Is an i5 10600k along with a 2070 super good for 144hz/VR gaming?

If you don't run absolutely maxed or super demanding games, it should do just fine.

 

R9 3900x, 32gb 3200mhz corsair dominator RGB, 1070Ti Founders Edition, HP 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD

If I would want to run maxed out settings on some games, what should I upgrade to what?
