So as the title says, I'm trying to install a second M.2 stick on my motherboard second slot https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/TUF-Z370-PLUS-GAMING-II/specifications/ )

Can it run normally if I use 2 M.2 at the same time with this motherboard?

I just want to know will it be normal just like you install a new hard drive and you create a new simple volume?

I'm doing this just for an extra storage for my games. An explaination and help would be greatful!

Provided you install it correctly, it will show in disk management like any other drive.

Worth noting that installing an SSD in the second slot disables SATA ports 5 and 6.

Does it disables automaticly?

Both slots support NVMe and SATA drives.

Wait last question, So If I put two m.2 in my motherboard it will only disable sata 5 and sata 6 right?

Cuz I heard some people said sometimes it will disable sata 1

A SATA M.2 drive in slot 1 will disable SATA port 1. NVMe in slot 1 will not disable any ports.

Any M.2 drive in slot 2 will disable ports 5 and 6.
