I work for a Non-profit and I have a few small projects,

1: I have a small business server (Looks like an overbuilt tower) in a "Server room" in our offices. I really need that room as general storage and there is available rack space in a different part of the building.  Is there a way to convert that tower to a rack mount. The server is 5-6 years old but being a non-profit during COVID can't justify buying a new one now. Does Linus already have a video on this? If not, Hey Content!! (He screams into the void.)

2: Our organization recovers eyes (corneas), and provides them to surgeons for transplant. We have hundreds of individuals a year that give the gift of sight. We honor their gift but I would like to create a memorial in person at our offices. I was thinking of a touch screen display much like the ones that you may see at a mall, where a visiter could select the year that their love one passed and we would have a digital memorial at our offices.  Does anyone know of how we can do this in a cost effective way? Any links to where we can create what we want.

Thanks

1. Possible? Maybe. Worth it? Unlikely.

2. Not sure, you'd probably have to find some used stuff from a mall or similar unless you wanted to shell out what would probably be well over a grand for one of these.

I haven't done much with them, but it sounds like a Raspberry Pi and a touch screen monitor could work well here. I have no clue how the coding on this would have to happen though. Might be as simple as making a page on your company's website that is all hyperlinked. Select Year->"Could do month to narrow it down more"->"Last name or something like that"

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.
