Would the Evga Supernova g2 750w be a good psu to pair with an Evga 3080 ultra black?

There were multiple people who were complaining about shutdowns when using either (not sure which one) one of the eVGA Supernova series.  Someone reported 3090's shutting down ( https://forums.evga.com/FTW3-Ultra-Shutting-down-PC-m3114618.aspx ) and I saw two people report 3080's shutting down  I don't remember the exact model but it was reported both on these forums and on reddit.

That's a pretty good power supply, 750W is enough unless you plan on doing SLI (pointless for the average gamer).

It's been the EVGA GA series is the problem. For EVGA PSUs, there are others from different brands also.

The G2, G3, T2, and P2 is fine.

As are the GQ and G+

There has been a lot of user errors also, that have been troubleshooted and resolved.

Lots of bad info out there, tons of it concerning PSUs and from bad advice to people to just cheaped out on their PSU before and plugged in a 3000 series card and it just doesn't work.

These 3080's and 3090's are no joke.
