Last night I changed cases. Everything went well expect now my ram is only showing 16gb (I have 32gb 4 channel installed). It was working fine before I switched cases. I took one of the sticks out and then it showed up as 24gb... anybody come across this before?

Might be a damaged memory stick. Try them one by one. If the sticks work on their own, then maybe the slot is broken.

I have found out that it seems to be one of the channels, when b1 and b2 are plugged in neither of the sticks are picked up, when b1 is plugged in alone that stick is picked up, if b2 is plugged in alone that stick is not picked up

I swapped sticks around so can confirm it’s not the sticks

Yeah, that sounds like a broken channel. You could try reseating the CPU to make sure all of its pins are making proper contact, otherwise it sounds like the board has a problem.

I have just tried b2 on it’s own with none in b1 or the A channel and it’s showing up fine now, it seems to only break when ram is plugged into A

and having both ram sticks in b1 and b2 is fine. The problem only occurs when ram is in a1 and a2

Just an update. I wiggled my cpu cooler a bit, then put the ram back in 1 by 1 booting each time and now all are showing up. I believe the cpu was not sitting properly and now it has been placed correctly. @Eigenvektor thank you very much for all the help.
