P14 vs TY-143?

NewbieOne

As per title.

I already have a bunch of P14s, but I have an opportunity to buy three TY-143s for a good price along with a TY-147 as fourth. So should I? Or will it be a sidegrade or downgrade?

I've already just tested TY-141 vs P14 and decided TY-141 was louder while not cooling noticeably better on my CPU cooler (within 1–2 degrees, with P14 possibly even being the better one).

It's a sidegrade. They will preform closely, but the build quality is better. Aka they will feel and look more premium

The 147 is a 74cfm fan, like a P14. The 143 is 130cfm fan, definitely not a side grade lol. A big step up from the 147, yet shares the same sound signature at the same rpm.

your not going to run the fan at 100%. between that and the noise to performance ratios it is a side grade

I am not concerned with silence like the majority of users, I do let mine spool up that high. Because I don’t run a stock system, ever.

Stock is a very dirty word. Filthy.
