Hello everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my laptop to a better pc and don't know what parts should I pick. I already saw the news about the Ryzen 5 5600x and is contemplating on whether or not I should go straight to it, when it launches, or pick an older generation. I currently have an I5-7300HQ with a GTX1060 for those who wants to ask. I do hope someone can help me thank you! ^_^

5600x looks to be a good choice, if stock exists around launch. If not a 3600 would be a good alternative.
Mobo b550/x570, check reviews, but msi tomahawk or gigabyte aorus master are decent

Budget (including currency):  Php 60,000-70,000 (Around $1200-1400)

Country: Philipines

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I play different types of games, such as: competitive games, singleplayer games like Nier, souls, etc. I also do video and photo editing and most of the time I program applications. I also stream sometimes.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have a 75hz monitor, kb and mouse already but would like to fit in a 144hz monitor as I sometime stream my games. I current have an i5-7300HQ with a Gtx1060 6gb and 8gb ddr4 ram running at 2400mhz only.
