I have two / three total fans in my case one rear, one on cpu , and one on gpu.

Replacing the rear and cpu fans and I think you can have one or two at the front for intakes.

Cpu fan will make the most difference in noise but an exhaust and intake will be good for overall lower temps so less noise

Dumb question but are the fans supposed to be loud/noisy when gaming? If not why do the fans kick up I have a basic cooler that came with my prebuilt and my gpu has a single fan so I don't know if any of those have anything to do with the noise?

I know the fans kick up cause the heat but the fans start getting noisy when I start a match and stay on on till I close the game? The game is COD MW.

Don’t worry about it, it’s a valid question. It does this because the games are more process intensive.  So your computer makes the parts run faster and in turn the parts get hotter.

Also they get louder because the fans are spinning faster. As they get faster or slower depending on how hot the parts are.

pre-builts are often built to a cost so anywhere the company can save a few $ off their product they do. Unfortunately this often ends up being fans and coolers being just big enough for the heat output from components. Typically you'll see this with cheaper fans which end up being louder and not moving as much air as more common branded ones like Noctua, BeQuiet and Corsair as those fans are often 10x the cost of the ones prebuilts come with. the same happens with coolers, if you have a little budget you can always swap out the installed fans for quieter ones from DIYPC or on bigger budgets BeQuiet or Noctua fans will silence the PC somewhat but won't do anything for your GPU cooler as it is usually the loudest component in the system.

The best gaming PC is the PC you like to game on, how you like to game on it

Is there any way to help tone the noise down? Maybe a new cpu cooler or maybe add more case fans? I could also get a new case but not sure if it will help?

I have two / three total fans in my case one rear, one on cpu , and one on gpu. and I guess my psu but I don't think that one counts?
