Preapplied paste?

Hello,

I have the default cooler I got with my R5 3600. I want to improve temps and though about buying this: NOCTUA NH-U12S

It says it has preapplied paste. Would that be enough and adequate or should I buy paste separately and apply it myself?

Paste is not pre-applied on a Noctua cooler, but it will come with a tube of Noctua paste. OEM paste is not the absolute best that you can buy, but it will be within a couple of degrees C of the best paste, so for most people, the included paste is just fine.

Noctula thermal paste is pretty good

Thank you all, I just wanted to make sure that paste is indeed included. I ordered the fan.
