So I plan on upgading my motherboard, CPU and memory. I'm going for a FX 4130 Black Edition 3.8GHz CPU from Micro Center, http://www.microcenter.com/product/408700/FX_4130_Black_Edition_38GHz_Quad-Core_Socket_AM3_Boxed_Processor#, and then some $50 mobo, 1 stick of whatever memory, and reinstall my old GTS 450. I'm keeping all the other parts. I know how to uninstall the old and install the new, but I don't know how to do all the sofware.

I'm also going to get a new copy of windows 7 but I'm not sure what to do after I install all the new hardware. Do I put in the new os disk when I boot it up for the first time? I don't know so thanks in advance.

The 4130 is pretty terrible.
I would go for the 6300 or go for an APU. I really wish that Microcenter would stock the 4300

Basicly I have $150 canadian to upgarde my mobo, cpu and memory, and I have a gts 450 that I assume is better than any apu + mobo for that price. Do you have any sugjestions that fall into that price? All I want is to be able to play league at max setting with 60 frames, and have music, skype and the internmet open in the background.

Will this cpu not be sufficent to run my cruddy programs? and also noone answered my question about the software :(    This cpu has to be a big upgrade from my Intel Pentium 4 551. I have a A6-3670k on another computer and it works just fine. The FX 4230 is faster so I'm not worried about performance.
