nvme SSD windows 10 Problems

Go to solution Solved by BatmanOnLSD,

Disabling CSM and reinstalling on the same drive seems to have solved my issue. Changed multiple times before, during and after installing my programs.

Hey everyone, today I got myself a new nvme ssd (wd black 250 gb) i previously used a samsung 860 evo as a boot drive. I purchased the wd to have more faster storage. Anyways, I got the drive created a bootable USB drive with the tool from microsoft's own store. Then installed windows on the new ssd. When I tried to shut down my pc after everything, it just wouldn't. The screen would read shutting down, then turning black and showing the windows 10 login screen. So, I just whut the computer from the psu power switch. Later when I tried to boot my pc I realised there was no windows boot manager in mt boot options in BIOS. So if anyone knows how to deal with this I would appreciate the help.

If there's no Windows boot manager in the boot priority selection, try selecting the NVME drive as the default boot drive. If that doesn't work, I'd try reinstalling Windows to the drive.

It is already the #1 option. It says to select a boot drive if I try that way. I disabled CSM in BIOS and trying to install windows again.

Make sure to format the drive before installation.
