I have a top mount in my case for my psu so  should I place the psu fan down where there is no fresh air or up where there is not ventilation link there is not gap to get fresh air. Which side should I go for?and will it effect the performance of the psu?

The below given image of  Power supply is not the one I have but the design is same

Believe it or not, there was a time (not too long ago... about 10 years ago) that ALL computer cases were like that.

If a PSU actually *needs* fresh air to operate properly, it's a shit PSU.  Most quality PSUs can operate at full load upwards of 40 to 50°C. And if your PC is THAT HOT inside, then you have bigger problems.

And I agree that the P450B is a garbage PSU.

Ya it is not that hot here it is pretty chilly weather here so I think there will be no problem. If the gigabyte one is trash should I go for the thermaltake litepower 450w?

That Thermaltake is even worse than the Gigabyte.

So no graphics card?
