Weird.  6-32 is pretty standard thread for motherboard trays.

How did it not fit?  Too small?  Too big?  Wrong thread pitch?

its to big and doesnt even srew it at all

the hexhead standoff is to small to fit it

manual just says standoffs

It's either unc 6-32 (imperial) or M3 (metric standard,3), same thread as optical drives.

You don't need ALL standoffs. The most important locations are close to places where the board could flex, bend, for example near the pci-e slot in which you insert the video card, because you would press the video card in the slot. Another location would be by the 24pin pci-e slot and maybe near the corners (even though there's little pressure, you don't want the board to shake or vibrate and touch the metal of the case.. so a few standoffs on the edges will keep the board from flapping inside the case.

And if you really want to, you could always cut a small piece of round plastic tube (from a pen for example) and super glue it to the case around the standoff hole... the plastic bit will keep the board from touching the metal of the case.

Question:  Do the 3mm screws that came with your case thread into the holes on the motherboard tray?  They could be using 3mm instead of 6-32.

These are M3:  https://www.amazon.com/Male-Female-Standoffs-Thread-Length-50-piece/dp/B01H7MMMTK/

ok... That's useless.  You're misunderstanding me.  But mariushm is pretty much saying the same thing.

Stand offs are either 6-32 or 3mm.

You bought 6-32.  They don't work.

Therefore, they could be 3mm.

3mm is the same thread as your drive screws (the ones in the manual labeled "M3*4".   If those thread into your motherboard tray, then the stand offs are 3mm.  Therefore, these are what you need:  https://www.amazon.com/Male-Female-Standoffs-Thread-Length-50-piece/dp/B01H7MMMTK/
