Newbie here... I am new to the world of PC and I am starting to build my own pc for school and gaming purposes. Now here are the things I wanna ask.

First is, I purchased a PC case just a regular one Trendsonic Raider ra08a. And while building my PC I noticed these things that I don't really recognize at all. Pic is included maybe at the end of this post. Can you guys tell me what is it? And what's the purpose of it because I might regret it for not using it for now.

Second is TBH I'm not complete yet, just saving up for a monitor and after that everything is now set-up(maybe bios and windows installation are must but I already prepared them once the monitor arrives). I noticed that when I plug my mouse, keyboard or even my headphones (which has rgb) they don't turn on/work. Is it kinda silly but are those normal or maybe something is wrong on my set-up? Thanks for answering this silly questions I have.

hard drive holders, they go on both sides of the drive for it to slide into the drive bay

no matter what ports you use?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Yup from the front panel all through the back of the pc. Should I wait for everything to be completed first?

Probably, if the system isn't starting up all the way you won't really know without the monitor.
