How to become a sysadmin

piratemonkey

Title says it. I'm looking into becoming a sysadmin as I should have an idea of what I'm doing with my future right about now. A sysadmin job has always interested me. so what do I need to learn? are there any programming languages? or Linux distros? Are certifications good? What programs should I familiarize myself with? is post secondary required?

Note: I'm slightly underage by a couple of years possibly, so I'm pretty much limited to self guided learning

Either @piratemonkey or quote me when responding to me. I won't see otherwise

Put a reaction on my post if I helped
