IM thinking about making my own wood case, How would this work?

The part at the back has the HD bays and the PSU

The holes would be filled with Silverstone air penetrators

The side would be coverd with glass

There would be feet on the bottom

Just So you know this is a vertical ATX orientation. THe GPU is the red thing and the IO is facing up. MB Io is the silver thing.

it will always work. I want to say though you will need to envision how you will fasten the faces to each other. You designed it in Google Sketchup which I consider a 2.5D program. You could just miter the faces at a 45* and glue them, but that's not as strong.

this was one I was working on a long time ago

I havent had too much experience with wood working, but im pretty good. I made a minecraft clock, a toy t-rex, a school wining c02 car, and a sturdy and nice looking stool.

EDIT

I fastened my stool together using wooden rods like nails, drilled hole, put glue in, then put rod in.

true.......

I wont be doing this till summer tho due to time and cold reasons. I just hate my red phantom 410 and I love my air penetrator fan.

EDIT

THis case design is cool cuase there is no fans on front, just has nice bottom to top air flow. I feel like it would run cool. II also fell it would be very quiet, especialy if i did somthing to top panel, due to wood and glass being noise blocking materials, and the fans being relitivly quiet.
