Help me upgrade

I was looking on upgrading my system but am kinda stuck with what to upgrade. I want to be able to run 1440p at 144 fps because of my monitor. I have a 5700XT paired with a i5-9600k(haven't overclocked it). I have a Corsair TX850 power supply and 16gbs of ram, And I have an MSI z 390-a pro. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. your build will probably do that at the right settings on some games currently. for higher settings/ aaa games, you should achieve that with just a gpu upgrade.

Wouldn't my cpu bottleneck a better graphics card

i doubt it, especially at 1440p or above. even a 3070* should be okay with little bottleneck issues.

Oh okay so what graphics card would you recommend because I'm looking at some 2070 super currently.

depends on the games you intend on running. a 2070s might do fine, might want to check some videos of people running the games/settings you are looking for to get an idea.

 

edit: just noticed your budget is 600$ or less. why not try for a 3070 at launch?

bro i totally forgot about the 3070 i think ill upgrade to that. Thanks for the help
