Hello everybody, I really need your help with my new SSD. So I've just installed it yesterday and I initalized it but when I'm trying to migrate my data using Intel's software, when I'm trying to choose destination disk, both of my disk are grayed out (the old HDD which is a source, and new SSD which should be the destination). Does anybody knows what should I do? Also is it possible that this is happening because there is more data on my hard disk than what ssd can handle, but I don't want to move it all.

Well... is there more data on the HDD than the SSD has space? Does Intel's software have the option of moving specific files/folders or just an entire disk?

Yes there is more data and I'm not sure if it has that option since I've never used it but I think it should have. I'm using the manual option, not the automatic one.

Are you able to plug the HDD into the computer as well? That way you can manually move the files over.

Well yes, the data is on the HDD and I want to move some of it on the SSD toghether with the OS.

I wouldn't try copying and pasting the OS onto the SSD as that can lead to a lot of problems (some of which I found out myself) which is why I recommend a full install of the OS on the SSD and then you just move the files and such that you want to the SSD. Unless the migration software has something that can let you pick what you want to move, I'm out of ideas.
