Hello all,

I am looking to do my first water cooling build.  I am doing two radiators, not sure on the size yet.  I am going to cool the graphics card and the CPU.

These are the cases I am considering.

Obsidian 900d

Phanteks

Cooler Master Cosmos 2

I am leaning towards the Obsidian and the Phanteks.  Any other suggestions or recommendations on cases?  I also have a modular power supply and I think some of the leads may not be long enough.  So I may look into getting a new power supply.

Thanks

Put it this way, it is very hard to fill a 900D, so you have plenty of expansion.

But I prefer the 750/800D.

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w

Peripherals: Logitech G19 and SteelSeries Sensei RAW

Toshiba L50-A: i7 4700mq, 8gb, 1TB HDD, GT 740M 2gb

Hell nah! Not 800D :D

750D for sure...

Go with the 750D

900D build quality is meh, youll never be able to fill it

Phantkek solid case and 2nd option

Cosmos 2 isn't made for watercooling and has a terrible internal layout.

^Yes, I'm comfortably water cooling a CPU and 2 GPUs in a 750D, you would really only need a 900D for like quad SLI water cooling.

Enthoo Primo or a 750D. They would be the best, as said before the 900D is such an overkill.

CPU: Intel i7 8700K | CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 | RAM: Kingston HyperX 2x8GB | Motherboard: Asus ROG Z370-E | GPU: MSI GTX 970 | HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB & 2TB | SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB & 970 EVO M.2 500GB | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X | PSU: Silverstone Platinum Strider 1100W | Monitor: AOC i2367Fh | Headphones: ATH-M40X | Mic: Antlion ModMic 4 | Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB w/ MX Browns | Mouse: Logitech G502 HERO

What radiator setup do you have? A 360mm radiator in the top and a 240mm radiator in the bottom? Are you getting decent temperatures with that?

CPU: 5930K @ 4.5GHz | GPU: Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme edition @ 1503MHz/7400MHz | RAM: 16GB Corsair Dom Plat @ 2667MHz CAS 13 | Motherboard: Asus X99 Sabertooth | Boot Drive: 400GB Intel 750 Series NVMe SSD | PSU: Corsair HX1000i | Monitor: Dell U2713HM 1440p monitor

Yes, I have a a 360 on top and a 240 in the front. All the fans in the case are on the silent profile from the bios and I get great temps! GPUs never go above 50c and CPU stays in the 60s (running at 1.4v).

So the 900d is not as good in terms of built quality and is WAY too big from what I am reading.  I am a bit weary about getting something from NZXT.  I had a bad experience with one of their cases a while back although someone said they have done a lot better recently.
