Hey guys! Last year I purchased a K90 keyboard and I was having a couple problems with it(dead LEDs). I returned it one time and got another defective product in return(bent Keyboard). I returned the keyboard around last May and I got a K95 in return(Thanks for that Corsair!). Now after 10 months a LED on the K95 has died.

My question is: What is the lifetime of the LEDs on these keyboards? Is there any way to replace them myself?

If I spend over $100 on a keyboard I expect it to be pretty flawless, but if I am going to have the same problem again I don't know if it makes sense to RMA the keyboard.
I bought the original K90 at the start of last year, so I am still under warranty.

Other than the LEDs, the keyboard has been great, but I am still kinda bummed that a keyboard this expensive can't even last a year.

What has you guy's experience with the Corsair keyboards? Are they prone to failure?

I had my K90 for over two years. It had worked perfectly and one day decided to have the volume function die.

Contacted Corsair and had no problems replacing the keyboard.

Love Corsair for that.

I recommend you try contacting Corsair again and explaining the situation, they will probably let you RMA it.

I use a K70 and the first one I got, the LED started burning out within 6 months. Corsair was kind enough to RMA it. It seems like a common situation with their newer keyboards. Their LEDs don't seem to last for too long.

Now I just keep it off unless I really want to shake things up and live on the edge, then I turn them on for a couple hours.

Darn it, I guess I'll try to RMA it again for the third time. I just hate having to wait so long to get it back. I can't stand using a membrane keyboard.

They are really good with their RMAs so I have to give them props for that.

I wouldn't wanna open and replace the LED's by myself if  I were you. Let Corsair RMA it. Their RMA process is pretty fast
