Driver Help

Go to solution Solved by Matt_TPrice,

I had the same problem. I tried every driver for the model he had. I ended up trying different models' drivers and I found that I was able to get the LAN driver to work but not the WAN. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=6521360#N536

Trust me I know its not the right model. My buddys computer also was an HP 2000 so maybe you will have the same success. Once you get the LAN to work be sure to run through windows update before trying to find the WAN driver. I just googled some Driver Scanner thing that scanned my hardware and found the right driver. But the Wan driver might not work unless you go through windows update.

This shit pissed me off too. But once I tried that HP envy's lan drivers all my problems were solved.

my buddy asked me to take windows 8 off of his HP 2000-2b19wm notebook and install windows 7 (pro 64bit with service pack 1). i did and all the network drivers came up as missing, i went on hp support and downloaded all the network drivers onto a flash drive and tried to run them but they all come up with a error saying it didnt install correctly. ive tried all the windows 8 and 7 drivers and tried them all in windows 7 compatibility mode and nothing works.
