First Ever PC Build

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Rust, Tarkov, Call Of Duty, etc.

Other details I'm building my first ever PC and really the only knowledge I have is from watching Linus building them. So I'm really looking for guidance and making sure I'm not doing something wrong or using outdated/ not good enough parts. I will say I'm not including a monitor yet just gonna use TV for a min just mainly concerned with the pc itself. So what I have picked out is. 

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x

GPU: asus tuf 3080(when it becomes available)

Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 ATX

RAM: G Skill Ripjaw V 32 GB 2×16 DDR4 3600 CL16

CPU Cooler: noctua NH-D15

Memory: barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200

PSU: Corsair RM 850 watt 80+gold

SSD:Western Digital 500GB WD Blue 3D NAND Internal PC SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s, M.2 2280, Up to 560 MB/s 

Case: Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower.

If anyone has any recommendations I'd appreciate it. RGB isn't really important to me and water cooling is not something I really wanna mess with at my skill level just yet. Thanks in advance and have a great day. 

 

P.S I'm not a super computer wiz so keep that in mind

you dont need 850 watts

 

consult this list and look for a A or high B tier maybe 750 watt psu

If you can, I would wait until late October/early November to buy your parts. New AMD CPUs and GPUs will be released by then.

It will be late November before I finish it partly because of that reason. Thanks

is that really the release date? i thought they havent even released the official announcement yet (you know, their performance claims and such)

Zen 3 on the 8th and rx6000 series on the 28th of October.

 

Note: I don't think we know if they will be launched or just announced on these dates.
